How are the mattresses selected to be upcycled?

A select few of the mattresses we collect still have years of sleep ahead of them; in fact, many were returned within 3 months of purchase so they no longer can be sold as "new".  Upcycling these mattresses, for resale, is a win for our customers and a win for the environment.

How do we clean and sanitize the mattresses?
